How does the service work?
Guests scan the QR code, choose a staff member, leave a review, and tip by card. The money goes directly to the employee, and administrators can view stats and manage employee profiles.
How can I add or remove an employee?
In the admin dashboard, you can add new staff, edit profiles, or remove them.
How do I print the QR code and what formats are available?
We provide ready-to-use printed materials with QR codes: stickers, plastic signs, flyers, or table stands. You can also download the QR code from your dashboard and use your own materials — menus, receipts, business cards, etc.
Where should the QR code be placed?
We recommend placing QR codes on tables, inside check holders, or at payment counters.
Is there POS and cash register integration?
Not yet, but it’s in development. In the future, automatic order data transfer and check payment via TipTap will be available.
How can I get statistics on tips and feedback?
The admin dashboard provides summary stats for the venue, individual staff, and guest reviews.
How can I connect TipTap?
Submit a request through the form on our website or contact our manager. We’ll get in touch to register your venue and help set everything up so you can start receiving tips via QR code.
How can I receive tips via TipTap?
The guest scans your QR code, selects you from the staff list, leaves a review, and tips by card.
When will I receive the tips?
Tips are credited to your account within 1 to 7 business days, depending on the service terms.
How can I view my tip statistics?
Your personal dashboard shows the history of tips and reviews.
Can I edit my profile?
Yes, you can upload a photo and change your name or profile description in your dashboard.
Do I need to download an app?
No, TipTap works through the browser. A dedicated staff app is currently in development.
What should I do if I haven’t received my tip?
Contact support through your dashboard — we’ll check the transaction and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
How to leave a tip via TipTap?
Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera or a scanning app, choose a staff member, leave a review, and tip by card.
What payment methods are supported?
Tipping is available by bank card.
Do I need to download an app?
No, just open the link from the QR code — the website will launch in your browser.
